Itinerary
One of our representative from Charisma Bhutan Tours & Treks will welcome you at Bhutan border Town Phuentsholing. Process permits and travel to Thimphu.
Stay at a Hotel at Thimphu.
After breakfast, we will explore Thimphu city and visit these places:
- Memorial Chorten: Built in 1974 by Her Majesty the Queen Mother Ashi Phuntsho Choden in memory of her son, the Third King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck.
- Buddha Statue: The world's largest and tallest Buddha statue, standing at 169 feet (52 meters), facing Thimphu valley and offering a 360-degree view of the city.
- Tashichho Dzong: Built in 1641 and expanded in 1694, this riverside dzong houses the central government, the King’s office, and the summer residence of the Central Monastic Body.
- Simply Bhutan, ancient tools, materials, baskets and Bhutanese ancient things.
- Takin ZOO, National animal of Bhutan.

Overnight: Stay at Thimphu
After breakfast drive towards Punakha via Dochula pass.
- Dochula Pass: Located 3,140 meters above sea level and an hour's drive from Thimphu, offering stunning views of the Eastern Himalayas and 108 chortens.
- Chimi Lhakhang: Known as the Temple of Fertility, where couples seek blessings for conception (optional visit).
- Punakha Dzong: A historic dzong at the confluence of the Phochu and Mochu rivers, built by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, and the site of the first King's coronation.
- Suspension Bridge: Take amazing pictures here.
- River Rafting: In Punakha there is a very smooth river one can enjoy rafting(optional)
Overnight: Stay at Thimphu
After breakfast, we will head towards Paro and these sites:
- Taktsang Monastery: Located 900m above Paro Valley on a cliff, this famous monastery, known as the Tiger’s Nest, was named after Guru Rinpoche who, according to legend, flew here on a tigress to subdue a demon.
- Ta Dzong: Ta Dzong, built in the 17th century as a watchtower, now houses the National Museum.
- Paro Rinpung Dzong: Paro Rinpung Dzong, built in 1644, is a historically significant dzong by the Pachu River.
Overnight: Stay at paro
After breakfast, our guide and driver will see you off at Phuentsholing for your onward destinations.

Cancellation and Refund
- If the customer cancels the booking at least 30 days prior to the trip date, 70% of the booking amount will be refunded.
- If the customer cancels the booking at least 15 days prior to the trip date, 50% of the booking amount will be refunded.
- If the customer cancels the booking before it is confirmed, the full amount will be refunded, minus a small cancellation fee.
- Refunds for third-party services, such as hotels and flights, are subject to the respective provider's cancellation policies. Eligibility and refund amounts are determined by their terms.
- Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days, though actual timing may vary based on bank procedures.
- In case of a missed trip due to flight or train cancellations, refunds are not applicable.
- We are not liable for any costs incurred due to unforeseen circumstances such as landslides, roadblocks, or adverse weather conditions.
