Our representative from Charisma Bhutan Tours & Treks will welcome you at Paro airport and drive to Thimphu.


On the way you can see

  • Tachog Lhakhang (monastery) located on the bank of Paa Chhu River, built in late 1300s by great Tibetan saint Drupthob Thangthong Gyalpo.
  • Chuzom Bridge, where one can get to see three type of stupas in one place and beautiful location to take pictures.


On reaching Thimphu, check in the Hotel. Stay overnight in Thimphu.

After breakfast, explore these sites in Thimphu.

  • Memorial Chorten: Built in 1974 by Her Majesty the Queen Mother Ashi Phuntsho Choden in memory of her son, Third King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck.
  • Bhutan Postal Museum: A museum showcasing Bhutan's postal history, including rare stamps and postal artifacts.
  • Buddha Statue: Standing at 169 feet (52m), this is the world's largest Buddha statue, offering a panoramic view of Thimphu valley.
  • Textile Museum: Established in 2001, it features Bhutanese textiles, royal collections, and the first version of the Raven Crown.
  • Tashichho Dzong: Built in 1641, it houses the central government, the King’s office, and serves as the summer residence for the Central Monastic Body.
  • Folk Heritage Museum: Displays ancient Bhutanese tools, materials, and cultural artifacts, providing a glimpse into traditional life.
  • Craft Bazaar: A vibrant market showcasing Bhutanese culture and tradition through local crafts and handmade goods.


Overnight Stay at Thimphu.

After breakfast, we will drive towards Punakha via Dochula pass.


Today we will visit these places:

  • Dochula Pass: Located an hour from Thimphu at 3140m, it offers stunning views of the Eastern Himalayas on clear days. Don't miss the 108 chortens.
  • Chimi Lhakhang (Temple of Fertility): Known as the fertility shrine, couples come here seeking blessings for conception.
  • Punakha Dzong: Situated where the Phochu and Mochu rivers meet, this historic dzong was the site of the first King's coronation and served as Bhutan's capital until 1955.
  • River Rafting at Punakha: Experience the thrill of rafting on the scenic rivers of Punakha, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes.


Stay at Punakha Overnight.

After breakfast drive towards Paro and we will visit the following:

  • Botanical Garden and Dochula Pass: Enjoy the fresh air and breathtaking views of the Himalayan Ranges from Dochula Pass on a clear day. Visit the Botanical Garden to explore local flora.
  • Ta Dzong (National Museum): Originally built in the mid-17th century as a watchtower, Ta Dzong now houses the National Museum of Bhutan in its circular structure.
  • Paro Rinpung Dzong: Located on the bank of the Pachu River, this 1644-built dzong, also known as Rinchen Pung Dzong, is renowned for its historical significance and stunning architecture.
  • Airport Viewpoint: A scenic spot offering panoramic views of the surrounding area and a unique perspective of the airport.


Stay at Paro Overnight.

After breakfast drive towards Taktsang base from where the hike begins. Horse riding facilities are available till view point (extra charges).


  • Taktsang Monastery: Perched 900m above Paro Valley on a cliff face, Taktsang, or Tiger's Nest, is renowned for its legendary origins, where Guru Rinpoche is said to have flown on a tigress to subdue a demon.
  • Kichu Lhakhang: Built in the 7th century by Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo, this temple is one of two constructed to subdue a demon lying across Tibet and Bhutan.


Overnight Stay at Paro.

Following breakfast, our guide and driver will accompany you to Paro International Airport for your onward journey, bringing an end to your unforgettable journey through Bhutan.

  • If the customer cancels the booking at least 30 days prior to the trip date, 70% of the booking amount will be refunded.
  • If the customer cancels the booking at least 15 days prior to the trip date, 50% of the booking amount will be refunded.
  • If the customer cancels the booking before it is confirmed, the full amount will be refunded, minus a small cancellation fee.
  • Refunds for third-party services, such as hotels and flights, are subject to the respective provider's cancellation policies. Eligibility and refund amounts are determined by their terms.
  • Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days, though actual timing may vary based on bank procedures.
  • In case of a missed trip due to flight or train cancellations, refunds are not applicable.
