Itinerary

Arrive in Bhuj and transfer to your hotel.


Bhuj, the major town of Kutch, derives its name from Bhujiyo Dungar and Hamirsar Lake. Established in 1510, the town retains a medieval charm with its atmospheric bazaars, palaces, temples, and crenelated gateways. Bhuj also hosts the renowned Rann Utsav festival every November to February.


Overnight stay at Bhuj.

After breakfast, visit the Banni villages:


  • Ajrakhpur: Famous for Ajrakh block printing, showcasing geometric and Islamic-inspired motifs using natural dyes.
  • Bhujodi: Known for Bandhani (tie-dye), weaving, and wood carving.


Visit the Hiralakshmi Crafts Park and Shrujan, supporting local artisans and showcasing unique embroideries like Aahir, Soof, and Rabari.

Explore the live demonstrations, interact with artisans, and shop for handcrafted products.


Overnight stay at Bhuj.

Today, enjoy a full-day excursion to the Banni villages in North Bhuj:


  • Nirona: Witness the rare Rogan art, traditional copper bell-making, and wood lacquering techniques passed down generations.
  • Bhirandiyara: Enjoy local Meghwal embroidery and try the famous sweet Maavo.
  • Ludia & Khavda: Visit the colorful painted Mud Bhungas and explore Khavda pottery made from the unique Rann clay (Rann ka mitti).


End your day at the stunning White Rann, where the boundless white desert creates an unforgettable natural panorama.


Overnight stay at Bhuj.

After breakfast, proceed for a day excursion to Mandvi:


  • Visit Vijay Vilas Palace, a magnificent 20th-century palace set amidst landscaped gardens and water channels, with beautiful Rajput architecture.


  • Stop at the Shipbuilding Yard on the banks of the Rukmavati River. Watch craftsmen skillfully build wooden ships for domestic and international clients, reflecting age-old maritime traditions.


Later, drive back to Bhuj for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, visit:


  • Kutch Museum: The oldest museum in Gujarat, featuring archaeological treasures, regional crafts, and Kshatrapa inscriptions.
  • Cenotaphs Complex (Chattardi): Historic red sandstone tombs that narrate the architectural grandeur of Kutch.
  • Prag Mahal: A 19th-century palace designed by Colonel Wilkins, showcasing European architecture and exquisite stonework.
  • Aaina Mahal: An 18th-century palace with Venetian glass, hall of mirrors, and European influences crafted by Ramsingh Malam.


Later, transfer to Bhuj Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey.
