Itinerary

Upon arrival, meet and greet at Varanasi Airport/Railway Station and transfer to the Bodhgaya.

Bodh Gaya is famous for the Mahabodhi Temple. It was here, under the Bodhi tree, that Gautama Buddha attained enlightenment.

Upon arrival, check-in at hotel for an overnight stay.

In morning, have breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, check-out and proceed for the Bodhgaya Sightseeing:

  • Mahabodhi Temple: The Mahabodhi Temple, built in the 7th century, is Bodh Gaya's main attraction, surrounding the Bodhi Tree where Buddha attained enlightenment.

  • Great Buddha Statue: India's tallest Buddha statue, installed by the XIV Dalai Lama in 1989, depicts a meditating Buddha seated on a giant lotus. It is crafted from intricately carved sandstone and red granite.

  • Bodhi Tree: The Bodhi Tree, under which Lord Buddha attained enlightenment, still thrives through its direct descendants, standing tall at 80 feet, despite the original being destroyed by various kings.

  • Sujata Kuti: Sujata Kuti, a stupa honoring the tribal woman Sujata, marks her offering of rice pudding that saved Gautam Buddha’s life during his severe austerities. It holds significant religious importance in Buddhist culture.

After sightseeing, proceed for the Varanasi. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel for an overnight stay.

Early morning boat ride tour will give you the real view of holy Varanasi, where you will see the morning rituals, special features of the various Ghats that you will pass along the way and burning ghat where the dead are cremated.

After your boat ride, visit the popular Kashi Vishwanath Temple + Annapurna Temple.

After temple visit, return back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, check-out & proceed for the Sarnath.

Sarnath, a tranquil town in Uttar Pradesh, is rich in history with Buddhist stupas, ancient sites, museums, and temples. Just 10 km from Varanasi, it is a revered pilgrimage site for Buddhists, Jains, and Hindus.

After Sarnath, proceed for the Ayodhya. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel for an overnight stay.

Early morning, have breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, proceed for the Ayodhya Sightseeing.

  • Ramjanma Bhoomi, the believed birthplace of Lord Ram, holds deep significance for Hindus. As per the Ramayan, Lord Vishnu's seventh incarnation, Ram, grew up along Ayodhya's Sarayu River, making it a sacred site for devotees.

  • Hanuman Garhi, a 10th-century temple in Sai Nagar, is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Visitors traditionally stop here before the Ram Temple, as it’s believed Hanuman guarded Ayodhya from this site.

  • Kanak Bhawan, built in 1891 in Tulsi Nagar near Ram Janmabhoomi, is a temple dedicated to Lord Rama and Goddess Sita, also known as Sone-ka-Ghar.

  • Sita Ki Rasoi is believed to be an ancient kitchen used by the goddess Sita herself. Built quite close to the Ram Janmabhoomi, this sacred site is now a temple housing some exhibit vessels.

After sightseeing, proceed for the Prayagraj. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel for an overnight stay.

In morning, have breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, check-out & proceed for the Prayagraj Sightseeing:

  • Triveni Sangam, where the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati meet, holds great religious significance in Indian mythology due to the reverence of these rivers.

  • Anand Bhawan is the former residence of the Nehru family, which has now been transformed into a museum showcasing various artefacts and articles from the era of the Indian Independence Movement.

  • Khusro Bagh was built by King Jahangir for his son Khusro. The tombstone of the prince lies in this garden, along with that of his mother, Shah Begum.

  • Bade Hanuman Mandir is located in the Sangam area of Allahabad. This temple is unique in that it was built underground and has a leaning posture that is 20 feet long and 8 feet wide.

After sightseeing, proceed for the Varanasi. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel.

Later in the evening, proceed for the Ganga Aarti at Ghat.

Every evening, Ganga Aarti is carried out in three holy cities of India. They are Haridwar, Rishikesh and Varanasi. All three of them have different vibes and energies. The Ganga Aarti is performed facing the river, with priests circling lit lamps clockwise to devotional songs. The ritual symbolises the lamps absorbing the deity's divine power.
