Itinerary

Upon arrival at Paro Airport, complete the immigration formalities. You will then be met by our representative, who will welcome you and transfer you to Thimphu.


Enroute, you'll visit:

  • Tachog Lhakhang monastery, situated on the Paa Chhu River. Built in the late 1300s by the renowned - Tibetan saint Drupthob Thangthong Gyalpo, it's a significant historical site.
  • Chuzom Bridge, known for its three distinct types of stupas and stunning photo opportunities.

After arriving in Thimphu, you'll check into your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, discover the charm of Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital city.


Today's sightseeing includes:

  • Memorial Chorten: A revered stupa built in memory of the Third King, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck.
  • Buddha Dordenma: One of the world's tallest Buddha statues with panoramic views of the city.
  • Textile Museum: Showcasing traditional Bhutanese weaving and royal garments.
  • Tashichho Dzong: An impressive fortress that houses the central government and monastic body.
  • Takin Zoo: Home to Bhutan’s unique national animal.

Spend the evening exploring Thimphu at your leisure before settling in for the night.

Embark on a scenic drive to the picturesque Punakha Valley.


Along the way:

  • Stop at Dochula Pass (3,100m) for stunning Himalayan views and the 108 memorial chortens.
  • Visit to Chimi Lhakhang, a fertility temple where couples seek blessings.
  • Visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, beautifully located at the confluence of the Phochu and Mochu rivers.
  • Cross the iconic Punakha Suspension Bridge for panoramic valley views.
  • Optional: Enjoy white-water rafting on the tranquil Punakha River.

Wrap up the day with a relaxing evening in Punakha and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will be driven to Phobjikha Valley. You will be able to witness the extraordinary view of the landscapes leading to western part of Bhutan.


You can visit Gangteg Gompa and trail walk through beautiful natural valley. You can also witness the presence of endangered species of black-necked crane if you visit it the valley in the right season.


You would be halting overnight in the Phobjikha hotel.

Enjoy a scenic drive from Phobjikha to the enchanting valley of Paro.


Explore the highlights of Paro, including:

  • Discover Ta Dzong, a 17th-century watchtower turned National Museum.
  • Visit Paro Rinpung Dzong, a historic fortress with stunning views of the Pachu River.
  • Stop at the Airport Viewpoint for sweeping views of the Paro Valley.

Evening stroll old Paro town and peep into some local handicrafts stores.


End the day with a peaceful riverside walk and check in for an overnight stay in Paro.

Embark on a memorable journey to one of Bhutan’s most iconic landmarks: Paro Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest Monastery), takes around 5 hours in total to complete the hike.


Experience includes:

  • A scenic drive to the base of the trail.
  • A rewarding hike to the cliffside monastery perched 900m above the valley.
  • You can go for hot stone bath for relaxing your muscles.

Later, explore the ancient Kichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples, dating back to the 7th century.


Overnight stay at Paro.

After breakfast, drive to Paro International Airport to connect with your onward journey.
