Is the Rohtang Pass visit guaranteed?

The visit to Rohtang Pass is subject to government regulations, permits, and weather conditions. Permits and vehicle charges will incur extra costs and cannot be pre-booked.


How is transportation arranged for Mall Road and Kufri attractions?

Cars are not allowed on Mall Road or Kufri attractions. For Mall Road, you can take a lift (ticket at your own cost) from the parking area. For Kufri, horse/pony rides are available at your own expense.


Are entry fees and rides included in the package?

No, entry fees for attractions like Kufri Fun Park, Jaku Temple Gondola, and rides/activities are not included and must be paid directly.


Can we add optional tours such as Atal Tunnel and Sissu Village?

Are there markets for traditional handicrafts in Manali?

Are trekking shoes necessary?

Should I carry rain gear?

Yes, a waterproof jacket or raincoat is advisable, especially for areas like Manali or Kasol.


Optional tours with Solang Valley at an extra cost:

  • Atal Tunnel and Sissu Village: You can also visit and drive through the newly built Atal Tunnel, one of the highest tunnels in the world. This tunnel acts as a gateway to the Lahaul and Spiti Valley. Visit Atal Tunnel and later Sissu Village; you can click pictures at Sissu Helipad, which is a tourist attraction these days. This option will be at extra cost.


Afterwards return to the hotel for dinner and a comfortable stay.


Kindly note: 

  • All sightseeing is around Mall Road. The car will be parked at the Mall Road parking lot, and the driver will drop you at the lift. Take the lift (ticket at your own cost) to reach Mall Road. From there, visit The Mall, Scandal Point, Ridge, Gaiety Theatre, Lakkar Bazaar, and Jaku Temple.  
  • For Kufri, the car will be parked, and all attractions will be accessed via horse/pony ride. Ride, entry fees, and activities are not included in the package and are to be paid directly.
  • The Rohtang Pass opening date every year is between the end of April and the second week of May. So advance booking for Rohtang Pass is not possible. NGT (National Green Tribunal) has also limited the number of vehicles visiting Rohtang Pass in a day. Thus, this sightseeing will be subject to a permit obtained on the spot and extra costs (permit + vehicle charges).
  • (Atal Tunnel & Sissu Village is on extra cost, and if Rohtang Pass is opened on your dates, then it will be on extra cost.)Kindly inform us to add these options at the time of booking.
