Through stunning scenery and a wealth of animals, this 7-day Northern Tanzania safari promises an experience that will never be forgotten. You'll see the expansive plains of Serengeti National Park, which is well known for the Great Migration, and the famous Ngorongoro Crater, which is home to the Big Five. Enjoy a plunge into thrilling game drives where you may see a variety of animals and, for a different viewpoint, go for an optional hot air balloon safari.
The journey continues to Tarangire National Park, which is well-known for its massive herds of elephants, and Lake Manyara National Park, which is well-known for its lions that climb trees. Go for birdwatching, take in the scenery, and connect with the Maasai culture. This tailor-made experience allows you to explore at your own pace, ensuring a truly personalized and immersive African adventure.
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport, our guide will meet you with a name board for your transfer to Ngorongoro Crater. You will travel via slopes and plains to the brink of the crater.
With over 40,000 animals, the interior is one of the most animal-rich places on earth. Along with herds of zebras, wildebeest, and gazelles, there's a good possibility of seeing the Big Five: buffalo, elephants, lions, leopards, and the endangered Black rhino.
After early breakfast, we drive through Ngorongoro Highlands for a morning game drive, heading to Serengeti National Park. We'll stop at Olduvai Gorge, a famous site where very old human fossils were found.
We arrive at our lodge for lunch, then start another game drive. Serengeti, meaning "endless plains," is world-famous. It's Tanzania's oldest park, known for the amazing Great Migration of millions of wildebeest, a truly special sight for photos.
You will go for a full-day game drive after breakfast. To maximize our time in this wonderful park, you might have to get up early to spend the entire day in this lovely park. Depending on the season, our guides will select the ideal spots for spotting; you can spend time at the hippo pool, where you can see a large pride of lions, crocodiles, and other magnificent creatures relaxing in the cool water.
On this day, an early morning balloon safari can be arranged for US$600 per person, after which the regular program can continue. To guarantee your spot, we strongly advise travelers to reserve their air balloon safari in advance. Due to our limited capacity, this unique experience is often completely booked.
Following breakfast, you'll transfer to Lake Manyara National Park, traversing the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater Highlands to the base of the stunning 2,000-foot Rift Valley Escarpment for a game drive. This often-overlooked park, with its acacia forests and floodplains, is famous for its unique tree-climbing lions. A wide range of fauna, including elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, leopards, hippos, and more, may be found there, along with more than 380 different kinds of birds.
You will visit the Maasai Boma to enjoy their music and experience their traditions after breakfast. Following your Maasai cultural interaction experience, you are headed to Tarangire National Park for a game drive and a picnic lunch. Thousands of elephants, wildebeest, and zebras migrate through Tarangire, which is well-known for its enormous elephant population.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Arusha for shopping, then proceed to Mount Kilimanjaro for sightseeing. After the sightseeing, you will be driven to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
After a delightful breakfast, you will be driven to Kilimanjaro Airport for your scheduled flight back home.
