You’ll take on the rewarding Japfu Peak hike - Nagaland’s second-highest, before exploring the cultural highlights of Kisama Heritage Village, Kohima’s WWII Memorial, cathedral, and vibrant Mao Bazaar. Itinerary

Arrive at Dimapur Airport and meet your driver. Enjoy a scenic drive to Dzukou Retreat, Jakhama, located on a peaceful hilltop. Check in, unwind, and soak in the serene mountain surroundings. Spend a relaxed evening at the retreat.

Start your moderate trek to the breathtaking Dzukou Valley, known for its rolling green landscapes and natural beauty. Reach the campsite by afternoon. Enjoy stargazing and the tranquil silence of the valley. Overnight stay in tents.

Spend the morning exploring the valley’s meadows, seasonal flowers, and hidden corners. Begin your descent back to Jakhama. Enjoy a warm shower, rest, and a cozy bonfire evening at Dzukou Retreat.

Drive to Khonoma, Asia’s first green village, and take a guided heritage tour through its historic lanes and terraced fields. Continue to Dzuleke Village, known for its pristine forest valley. Enjoy a stream-side packed picnic lunch before returning to the retreat.

Set out early for the trek to Japfu Peak, Nagaland’s second-highest peak. A moderate full-day adventure rewards you with panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Return by evening for rest and dinner.

Visit Kisama Naga Heritage Village, the famed Hornbill Festival venue, showcasing Morungs and tribal architecture. Continue to Kohima for a city tour covering the World War II Memorial, Kohima Cathedral, and the vibrant Mao Bazaar, known for unique local produce.

After breakfast, depart for Dimapur Airport/Railway Station or choose an onward transfer to Guwahati. End of tour with fond memories of Nagaland’s landscapes, culture, and trails.
