Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, you will be received by our representative. From here, we will begin our journey to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Assam.


On reaching Kaziranga, enjoy a jeep safari through the park's lush grasslands and dense forests. The park is renowned for its population of the great Indian one-horned rhinoceros, as well as elephants, tigers, and a rich variety of birdlife.


Later, visit the Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park, home to over 500 species of orchids along with a variety of medicinal plants and regional flora.


In the evening, witness vibrant Assamese cultural performances that showcase the traditions and folk dances of the region.

After an early breakfast, head to Kaziranga National Park for an unforgettable elephant safari.


This morning safari offers a unique opportunity to explore the park’s rich natural habitat up close and observe its diverse wildlife, including swamp deer, wild buffalo, elephants, and the iconic one-horned rhinoceros.


Later in the day, enjoy bird watching, as the park is home to numerous resident and migratory bird species, making it a paradise for bird lovers.


In the afternoon, embark on a jeep safari in one of the park’s designated zones for another chance to experience the wild beauty of Kaziranga and spot more animals in their natural surroundings.

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and begin your scenic drive to Bhalukpong, the gateway to Arunachal Pradesh, surrounded by lush green hills and picturesque landscapes.


En route, visit the Tipi Orchidarium, a major attraction in the region, which houses over 500 species of orchids in a beautifully maintained greenhouse. It’s a must-visit for nature enthusiasts and botany lovers.

After an early breakfast, we will drive to Dirang, a picturesque valley town nestled in the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas. The journey offers stunning views of lush green mountains and cascading rivers as we ascend into the serene landscapes of Arunachal Pradesh.


Upon reaching Dirang, explore some of its most beautiful attractions:

  • Sangti Valley - A tranquil paradise known for its pristine forests, fast-flowing rivers, fruit orchards, and rich biodiversity. It’s also a seasonal home to the endangered black-necked cranes.
  • Dirang Dzong - A historic fort-like structure and traditional village with centuries-old stone houses.
  • Kiwi Fruit Farms - Visit the local farms and learn about the cultivation of kiwi, a prominent produce of the region.
  • Tibetan Villages - Discover the culture and daily life of the local Monpa tribes.
  • Local Market - Stroll through Dirang’s local market for souvenirs, handicrafts, and traditional items.

After breakfast, begin your journey to the enchanting town of Tawang, nestled in the high Himalayas.


The drive is scenic and filled with breathtaking landscapes, with two significant stopovers along the way:

  • Nuranang Falls (Jung Falls): A spectacular 100-meter-high waterfall set amidst lush greenery, offering stunning views and an ideal spot for photography and relaxation.
  • Sela Pass and Sela Lake: Located at an altitude of 4,170 meters, Sela Pass is one of the highest motorable passes in India. Nearby, Sela Lake - often frozen in winter - adds to the surreal beauty of the landscape.

Upon arrival in Tawang, visit the magnificent:

Tawang Monastery: The largest monastery in India and the second-largest in Asia. Perched on a mountain ridge, this 17th-century monastery is a spiritual and cultural treasure, offering panoramic views of the Tawang Valley and housing ancient scriptures and a grand 28-foot Buddha statue.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to the breathtaking Sungestar Tso, popularly known as Madhuri Lake. Surrounded by snow-covered mountains and pine forests, this serene lake was made famous after actress Madhuri Dixit shot a scene here for the Bollywood film Koyla. It’s a perfect spot for photography and offers a peaceful escape amidst pristine Himalayan beauty.


Along the way, witness dramatic landscapes and high-altitude terrain that highlight the raw charm of Arunachal Pradesh.


You may also choose to visit Bumla Pass, located at an altitude of 5,000 meters on the Indo-China border. This historic route was taken by the 14th Dalai Lama when he entered India in 1959. At the pass, you can take part in a symbolic gesture by placing a pebble on the Heap of Stones, honoring the courage and sacrifice of Indian soldiers.

Overnight stay in Tawang.

After breakfast, begin your descent to Bomdila, a peaceful hill town known for its panoramic Himalayan views and Buddhist culture.


En route, enjoy:

Bomdila View Point - A perfect stop for panoramic views of the Eastern Himalayas.

Bomdila Monastery - The largest monastery in the region, home to numerous monks and lamas. It is believed to be a replica of the Tsona Gontse Monastery in Tibet and serves as a spiritual and cultural center for the locals.


Afterward, explore the local market, known for traditional handicrafts, woolen clothes, and souvenirs.


Overnight stay in Bomdila.

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Guwahati through the scenic mountain roads of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam. Upon arrival, you will be dropped at the Guwahati Airport or the City for your onward journey.


Tour concludes with wonderful memories of Northeast India.
