Itinerary

Welcome to Northeast India! Upon your arrival at Guwahati Airport, begin your journey to Arunachal Pradesh.

Drive through scenic mountain roads to Bhalukpong, a gateway town known for its greenery and serenity. En route, visit the Tipi Orchidarium, home to over 500 species of orchids.

Overnight stay in Bhalukpong.

After an early breakfast, head towards Dirang, a quaint Himalayan valley town nestled in the Eastern Himalayas.

Visit the picturesque Sangti Valley, a paradise for bird watchers and nature lovers, featuring fast-flowing rivers, apple orchards, and traditional tribal villages. Explore Dirang Dzong (fort), Kiwi farms, Tibetan villages, and the local market.

Overnight stay in Dirang.

Post breakfast, continue to Tawang, a spiritual and cultural gem of Arunachal Pradesh. En route, stop at:

Nuranang Falls - A magnificent 100-meter-high waterfall set amidst lush forest.

-Sela Pass and Sela Lake - Located at 4,170 meters, these offer panoramic views and photo ops at one of India’s highest motorable passes.

Overnight stay in Tawang.

After breakfast, visit the stunning Sungestar Tso (Madhuri Lake), surrounded by snow-capped peaks. This serene lake was featured in the Bollywood film Koyla and is a popular tourist highlight.

On request and with permits, visit Bumla Pass (5,000 meters), the Indo-China border where the Dalai Lama entered India in 1959. Participate in the symbolic Heap of Stones tribute for Indian soldiers.

Spend the day exploring the rich heritage of Tawang:

-Tawang Monastery - The largest monastery in India and the second-largest in Asia, founded in 1680.

After breakfast, begin your return journey to Guwahati, soaking in the final views of the green valleys of Arunachal Pradesh. On arrival, drop off at Guwahati city or airport.
