This 5-night and 6-day tour offers an immersive journey through the diverse landscapes and cultural gems of Assam and Meghalaya. Starting in Guwahati, you head straight to the picturesque hill station of Shillong, known as the “Scotland of the East.”

Along the way, enjoy a scenic stop at Umiam Lake, the largest artificial lake in Northeast India. The next day is dedicated to an excursion to Cherrapunjee, one of the wettest places on earth, where you will explore natural wonders like Nohkhalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Arwah and Mawsmai Caves, Eco Park, and Elephant Falls on the return.

Your adventure continues to the famous Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the rare one-horned rhinoceros. Experience thrilling wildlife safaris, both by elephant and jeep, across different zones of the park.

After an unforgettable wildlife experience, return to Guwahati via a visit to the Maha Mrityunjay Temple in Nagaon. The journey concludes with a spiritual visit to the revered Kamakhya Temple atop Nilachal Hill before your departure. This itinerary perfectly blends nature, culture, and spirituality for a well-rounded Northeast India experience.

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, you will be greeted by our representative. Begin your scenic drive to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. En route, stop at Umiam Lake, the largest artificial lake in Northeast India, perfect for photography and relaxation. On arrival in Shillong, check into your hotel. Evening is free to explore the city or relax. Overnight stay in Shillong.

After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee, one of the wettest places on Earth. Explore natural attractions like Nohkhalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Caves, Eco Park, and Arwah Caves. On your return to Shillong, stop by the cascading Elephant Falls. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Start your day early with an Elephant Safari in one of the park’s zones (at your own cost), offering a close look at wildlife like rhinos, wild buffaloes, and elephants in their natural habitat. After breakfast, relax at the resort. Post lunch, enjoy a Jeep Safari in a different zone of the park for a more expansive view of Kaziranga’s wilderness. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

After breakfast, visit the revered Kamakhya Temple, located on Nilachal Hill, one of the most important Shakti Peethas in India. After darshan, proceed to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
