Your adventure intensifies as you travel through Khardungla Pass, the world’s highest motorable road, to reach the picturesque Nubra Valley. Discover the unique beauty of the valley with a camel safari on the Hunder Sand Dunes and explore the culturally significant villages of Turtuk, Tyakshi, and Thang, the last Indian village near the Pakistan border. These hidden gems offer a rare glimpse into Ladakh’s Balti culture and untouched landscapes.


The journey culminates at the ethereal Pangong Lake, renowned for its stunning blue hues and dramatic surroundings. After witnessing a magical sunset and sunrise over the lake, you’ll return to Leh with stops at the impressive Thiksey Monastery and historic Shey Palace. This carefully curated itinerary blends natural wonders, cultural immersion, and offbeat exploration for a truly enriching Himalayan experience.

Itinerary

Arrive at Leh airport, where our representative will greet you and transfer you to your reserved accommodation. Check into the hotel and take some time to acclimatize to the high altitude. In the evening, visit the Leh Market, Leh Palace, and Shanti Stupa to soak in the local atmosphere. Overnight in Leh.

After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Sham Valley. Visit Likir and Alchi Monastery, known for their exquisite Buddhist art and architecture. Explore the Sangam, the confluence of the Zanskar and Indus Rivers.


Experience the Magnetic Hill's unique gravitational phenomenon and pay your respects at Pathar Sahib Gurudwara. Explore the Hall of Fame museum to learn about the brave soldiers and their contributions. Return to Leh for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via the world's highest motorable road, Khardungla Pass. Take short breaks at roadside cafes and scenic viewpoints for photography.


Upon arrival, check into your hotel or camp. In the afternoon, enjoy a camel safari on double-humped camels unique to Ladakh and Mongolia at the Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hundur Village. Overnight in Nubra Valley.

After breakfast, drive to Thang, the last village of India on the India-Pakistan border, captured by the Indian Army in the 1971 war. En route, visit Turtuk and Tyakshi to experience the unique culture and landscapes. Return to Nubra Valley for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for Pangong Lake, a 6-7 hour drive. Arrive at the camp and enjoy free time at leisure. Witness the mesmerizing color-changing lake and the beautiful sunset on its banks. Overnight at Pangong Lake.

Wake up early to enjoy the picturesque sunrise over the lake. After breakfast, drive back to Leh, en route visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. Return to Leh for an overnight stay.

Early morning transfer to Leh airport to board your flight back to your destination.

Do's:

  • Rest for at least 24 hours upon arrival to acclimatise to the high altitude.
  • Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water or fluids (avoid alcohol).

  • Avoid using polythene; Ladakh is a polythene-free zone.
  • Dispose of all waste properly.

Preventing Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS)

  • AMS can affect anyone at altitudes above 10,000 feet
  • Leh is situated at 11,500 feet above sea level
  • Common symptoms include headache, disturbed sleep, nausea, breathlessness, fatigue, and lack of appetite
  • Rest for the first 24 hours after arrival
  • Stay hydrated and avoid alcohol or smoking
  • Keep warm and avoid physical exertion on the first day
  • Take Diamox if recommended by a medical professional
