Itinerary

Upon arrival at Leh airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to Sham Valley. Enjoy a scenic drive along the Indus River, passing through picturesque villages.


Check in to your pre-booked accommodation and relax for the rest of the day.

Overnight stay in Sham Valley.

After breakfast, drive to Lamayuru, known for its unique Moonland terrain and the ancient Lamayuru Monastery. On your return journey to Leh, visit Alchi Monastery, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, the famous Magnetic Hill, and the Hall of Fame museum.


Arrive in Leh by evening and check into your hotel.

Overnight stay in Leh.

Post breakfast, begin your journey to the stunning Nubra Valley via Khardung La, one of the highest motorable roads in the world at 18,380 ft. Stop at scenic viewpoints and enjoy local refreshments.


Upon arrival, check in to your camp or hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a camel ride amidst the sand dunes between Deskit and Hundur villages.


Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

After breakfast, travel to Thang, the last village on the India-Pakistan border, which was taken over by the Indian Army during the 1971 war. En route, explore the culturally rich village of Turtuk and Tyakshi, known for their unique Balti heritage.


Return to Hunder by evening. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

After an early breakfast, drive to the breathtaking Pangong Lake situated at an altitude of 14,500 ft. The drive along the Shyok River is filled with mesmerizing views of mountains and valleys.


On arrival, check in to your lakeside camp and enjoy the changing hues of Pangong Tso throughout the day.

Overnight stay at Pangong Lake.

Witness a stunning sunrise over Pangong Lake before breakfast. Begin your drive back to Leh, with en route visits to the "3 Idiots" school and the serene Thikse Monastery.


Spend your evening relaxing or exploring the local market. Overnight stay in Leh.

Early morning, transfer to Leh airport for your return flight. Your unforgettable Ladakh adventure concludes with cherished memories.

Good to know

Dos:

  • Rest for at least 24 hours upon arrival to acclimatize to the high altitude.
  • Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water or fluids (avoid alcohol).
  • Cooperate with locals, porters, guides, and drivers.
  • Respect the local culture and environment.
  • Avoid using polythene; Ladakh is a polythene-free zone.
  • Dispose of all waste properly.
  • Carry an identification card (passport, voter ID, driving license, etc.) along with a photocopy.

Don’ts:

  • Do not wear denim; it is not suitable for trekking.
  • Do not overpack with snacks, colas, alcohol, or personal food.
  • Do not bring any trekking equipment such as tents; it will be provided.
  • Do not expect guaranteed smooth transit as weather and road conditions may affect travel.

Preventing Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS)

  • AMS can affect anyone at altitudes above 10,000 feet
  • Leh is situated at 11,500 feet above sea level
  • Common symptoms include headache, disturbed sleep, nausea, breathlessness, fatigue, and lack of appetite
  • Rest for the first 24 hours after arrival
  • Stay hydrated and avoid alcohol or smoking
  • Keep warm and avoid physical exertion on the first day
  • Take Diamox if recommended by a medical professional
