Embark on an unforgettable 9-day journey through Ladakh, covering some of the region’s most iconic destinations. Begin your adventure in the serene Sham Valley and continue to Leh, exploring cultural landmarks like Alchi Monastery, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, and Shanti Stupa.
Enjoy a traditional Ladakhi polo match and cultural show before heading to the spectacular Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass. Visit the northernmost village of Thang on the India-Pakistan border, and explore the unique landscapes of Turtuk and Tyakshi.
Next, travel to the breathtaking Pangong Lake, followed by a journey to the remote village of Hanle, home to the Indian Astronomical Observatory. Experience the high-altitude beauty of Tsomoriri Lake via Chushul and Mahe Bridge, and then pass through Tsokar Lake and Taglang La - one of the world’s highest motorable passes - before returning to Leh.
This itinerary showcases Ladakh’s best: Sham Valley, Leh, Nubra Valley, Turtuk, Thang, Pangong Lake, Hanle, Tsomoriri, Tsokar Lake, and Taglang La, offering a perfect blend of nature, culture, and adventure.
Upon your arrival at Leh airport, you will be directly transferred to Sham Valley, passing through picturesque villages along the Indus River. After reaching, check into your reserved accommodation for a day of complete rest. Overnight stay in Sham.
After breakfast, drive to Leh, making stops at Alchi Monastery, Sangam, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, and the Hall of Fame en route. In the afternoon, drive to Thiksey to enjoy traditional Ladakhi cuisine.
Continue the journey to Chuchot to witness an exhilarating traditional Ladakhi polo match and Cultural Show, showcasing the region's unique sporting heritage. On the return Journey to the Hotel, visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace and Leh Market. Overnight stay in Leh.
Following breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Nubra Valley, also known as the Valley of Flowers, via Khardungla, the highest motorable road in the World (18,380 ft).
Check into the hotel/camp upon your arrival and take a walk along the Shayok River. Optionally, enjoy a camel ride on the Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hundur Village. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
After breakfast, drive to Thang (the last village of India on the India-Pakistan border), captured by the Indian Army in the 1971 war.
En route, explore Turtuk and Tyakshi. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
After breakfast, leave for Pangong Lake at 14,500 ft, with a drive of 6 – 7 Hrs. Arrive at the camp and enjoy free time at leisure, witnessing the mesmerizing color changes of the lake and the sunset on its banks. Overnight stay at Pangong Lake.
In the morning after breakfast, drive to Hanle, crossing Chushul Village and Tsaga La (15,200 Ft). Hanle is home to the Indian Astronomical Observatory.
The village's location is highly sensitive due to its proximity to the Tibetan/Chinese border. India set up the Himalayan Chandra Telescope, a 2m gamma-ray telescope, here. Enjoy the stay with locals at a guesthouse/homestay. Overnight stay in Hanle.
After breakfast, drive to Tsomoriri Lake via Nurpa Pass (16,100 Ft), continuing to drive through Loma Bend and Mahe Bridge. Arrive at Korzok village by late noon. Evening is at your disposal to walk around the lake and enjoy the scenic beauty. Overnight stay in Korzok.
Morning after breakfast, leave for Leh via Puga (Sulphur Mine) and Polakongka pass 15,892 ft, Tsokar Lake, and Taklang La Pass 17,585 ft, the second-highest motorable road in the world. Arrive in Leh by late evening. Overnight stay in Leh.
Early in the morning, transfer to Leh airport for your flight back to your destination. The journey comes to an end.
