Itinerary

We begin your Meghalaya adventure with a scenic drive from Guwahati to Jowai, a picturesque town in the West Jaintia Hills.


First, visit the Nartiang Monolith Garden, home to ancient megaliths symbolizing the rich cultural history of the region. Next, explore the breathtaking Phe Phe Falls, where cascading waters tumble into lush surroundings-perfect for a nature break and photos.


Overnight stay in Jowai.

After breakfast, head to the idyllic village of Shnongpdeng, located on the banks of the Umngot River, famous for its crystal-clear waters.


Spend the day indulging in thrilling activities such as kayaking, cliff jumping, boating, snorkeling, scuba diving, and ziplining.


In the evening, unwind with an overnight camping experience under the stars, surrounded by hills and rivers.


Overnight stay in Shnongpdeng.

Start your day with a visit to the hidden Byrdaw Falls near Pomshutia, known for its serene setting. Then, take a short hike to the Single Decker Living Root Bridge in Riwai, a natural marvel created by guiding the roots of rubber trees across streams. Continue to Pynursla, a peaceful hill town, for a relaxing evening.

Today, journey to Cherrapunjee (Sohra), one of the wettest places on Earth.


Today you will visit:

  • Prut Falls - A serene waterfall perfect for quiet reflection.
  • Lyngksiar Falls - Featuring a photogenic plunge and natural pool.
  • Pung Lyer Falls - Reach this hidden gem via a 1-hour trek through lush forest trails; take a dip in its refreshing pool.

Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.

After breakfast, set out for the southwestern highlands of Meghalaya.


Explore Markham Valley (Dommurok), often dubbed the “Dzukou Valley of Meghalaya,” with its rolling meadows and untouched beauty. Continue to Mawphanlur, a tranquil village with scenic lakes and panoramic landscapes perfect for quiet hikes.


Return to Cherrapunjee in the evening. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.

Start your day early. Visit the lesser-known Prut Falls and Lyngksiar Falls. Then continue to the dramatic Laitlum Canyon, where you can enjoy panoramic views of deep gorges, cloud-kissed cliffs, and endless rolling hills.


By afternoon, proceed to Shillong. You can also visit Ward’s Lake or browse the bustling Police Bazaar.

After breakfast, check out from Shillong and enjoy a scenic drive back to Guwahati. We’ll drop you at the airport/railway station for your departure.
